" I arrived by car in the evening. The hotel is poorly signed and I had problems locating it. Otherwise nice location with pleasant staff and great rooms. For the number of rooms I find 2 elevators too little - too much waiting time. "

It overlooks Bordeaux's streetcar hub and the Girond Estuary, is adjacent to the jardin public and the head of Rue Sainte Catherine, and is equidistant to the funky dining neighborhoods of The Chartrons and Saint-Pierre. The Bar a Vins, sponsored by the Bordeaux wind industry, is next door. Can't be beat."

"The lobby is fun and the cafe is excellent with staff that speak English. They were very kind and accommodating as I was traveling alone. Rooms are clean, not a great mattress or pillows but for the convenience of the train station and price it was great. "
