There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. The bathroom was poorly finished and the shower was not the cleanest. The flooring was lifting and squishy in places and the room itself smelt of damp. "A friendly greeting and offer of help with our luggage was a great start. This is a modern hotel with superb views over the Salcombe Estuary. The room was very comfortable with all as you would expect. Mini bar, tea making, coffee pod machine etc Complimentary Salcombe gin and tonic on arrival plus ice delivered each night was great. The staff were excellent and helpful. A great Spa and pool. High standards set by friendly staff"

"Stunning location, clean and modern. Love The Salcombe Gin touch at 5pm! Spa was lovely and treatment was one of the best. Bar & Restaurant is really nice with lovely views. My only ‘minus’ was really the quality of the food was not the best. I had the risotto which was tasteless. "

"Beautiful hotel in the most stunning location. Fantastic for dog walking and miles away from anything. Beautiful views, with access to sea and sand. Lovely food, rooms are great. Sadly didn’t get to use the spa as was fully booked but very quiet in the hotel so not sure how had booked it!"
