"Room was super clean and spacious. Ned comfortable. Only negative was that the lights on the heaters glow so brightly that room wasnt dark and that kept waking me up. Seating area near bar is tired and could do with upholstering and the floor was littered and untidy, however the rest of the hotel was clean and tidy. We have stayed here several times and give it a thumbs up, its not 5 star but it isstill a lovely hotel and very good value for money."

The hotel is true to its description of Dog friendly, although tou can’t eat in the restaurant with them (which is reasonable). There were a lot of families with dogs and they were made very welcome. "It’s the second time we’ve stayed. The first time in July so it was lovely to see a period Inn decked out for Christmas. We met with locally placed relatives for dinner which was lovely. Staff all friendly, especially Yvonne who does the breakfast shift and settled our bill. The Inn has great views and an enjoyable experience overall."
