"Everyone has been very pleasant and helpful however I was very disappointed when we tried to eat in on Saturday evening. We were never told we had to book a table nor were we informed there would be an event that evening allowing food only to be served in the bar area. We were eventually accommodated with another table being set up. However the bar was busy and it was surprising that all the coats of the event guests were hung in the bar area which certainly detracted from the ambience. I...

"We had a terrific stay at the Bedford Lodge Hotel, it's a really beautiful property. The room was spacious and modern, with easy and lot's of parking. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and wasn't disappointed , great food and service. The breakfast was amazing, lot's of choice and lovely ingredients. "My stay here was fantastic. It exceeded my expectations is pretty much every way, including luggage being taken up to my room so it was waiting for me when I was ready to check in. Breakfast was great and the wait wasnt very long at all for the meals being freshly cooked. The only downside was that the bed was hard as a rock, and i prefer a softer bed. I would recommend this hotel! "

"The situation was excellent, the staff were excellent but the property was very tired and in dire need of redecoration. The garden areas in the lodge where we were staying were largely overgown and uncared for which was a shame. The staff were excellent and very helpful. With investment, this could be a 4/5 star hotel given its location. Presently, it is 2/3 star at best."
