"This was our first time to Greece and we booked sansal based on reviews and how close it was to the ocean. When we arrived the staff were so great and very helpful, they were also very friendly and gave good recommendations where to visit and where to eat. We will be staying here when we come back!"

"Booked as a last minute 3 night stay for my wife and I, having not been to Crete previously. The hotel was great. Large clean room with a sea view, 2 pools, a water park and plenty of sunbeds. There is also a reserved area on the beach for hotel guests with an all inclusive bar right next to it. The food was good, with plenty of choice. I would 100% recommend this hotel. We are already looking at returning again with our kids."

"This resort is incredible! It's beautiful, on the beach, in a great location, & the breakfast was amazing!! The buffet was huge with so many selections. The spa & pool area were wonderful, you really felt like you're on vacation with things such as a swim up bar, chairs on the beach and 2 pools to choose from. "By far one of the worst places I have ever stayed at. Pros: Location to the beautiful beach. We had a room with a great view of the water which is located just a 2 minute walk away. All meals are provided in a buffet style setting and provide a large amount of options. Cons: Everything other thing imaginable. Room is complete garbage - furniture very old and painted in a pepto bismol pink. Mattresses are horrid and lord only knows how many decades they have been using the pillows. They are...

"Had a fantastic stay at this lovely and quite new hotel. Staff were excellent, friendly and nothing too much bother. Really well situated, a very short walk to the beach and just minutes drive from the centre. Breakfast was really good and would definitely recommend and stay again!"

"A great hotel with lovely staff and very clean. Reception area is welcoming, beautiful and smells fantastic! The rooms are a little on the small side and the lighting isn’t great, especially in the bathroom and shower. There is also a smell which comes from the drains but overall, a great hotel and I would highly recommend it. 3 pools to choose from all with beds although they need to be stricter on the policy of not reserving subbed early in the morning. "

"We had a really relaxing time at the Kalyves beach hotel. What wasn’t clear to us at booking was the “all inclusive” and “all inclusive welcome gift” option. We went for the latter which gave us the “all inclusive plus” package at the hotel and was well worth the small extra cost, giving us unlimited cocktails, room upgrade and discount on the spa. Excellent value for money and still easily got enough for us (27c) at the end of September. The buffet food selection was great for us too as we could pick and choose what we wanted. We loved the stay and the entertainment in the night arranged by Momo was excellent too. Everyone was so friendly and keen to help we felt so looked after and pampered! Fully recommended!"
