"This is a business hotel. So look elsewhere if you expect fancy amenities. The room was impeccably clean. There are laundry machines on 3 floors that I appreciated. Typical Japanese amenities were provided. Sign up for the breakfast. It is very good, with choices of local and western foods. "

"Nice that it’s close to the Umekoji-Kyotonishi train station which is just 1 strain stop away from the main Kyoto station. I also like that the place is clean. Our beds are cleaned and neat everyday despite the mess we left from such a busy day outside the hotel. Thirdly, I like that the showers have very good water pressure. It’s just too bag that we didn’t get to see and use the public bath they have. "
