"I was on a one night stay for a football game . Enquired about an early check in .. 2 girls in reception could have not being more helpful and pleasant … would definitely recommend to anyone who needs accommodation near Stansted airport "

"This was a lovely find in the centre of town. Prices on Hotels.com were extremely competitive than booking directly with the hotel! The “standard room” was large and airy as was the bathroom, which included a rainfall shower over the bath and a handheld shower too! Complimentary tea/coffee/milk sachets were included and an iron with ironing board and hairdryer were also in the room. A lovely modern feel, was lively in the town until about 2am being a bank holiday wknd, but we enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night & on a week night, it was very quiet in the evening. Ideally located for shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes and even a small park open until 9pm. Will definitely be returning in the near future. Only downside was parking! We have a disability blue badge, so was able to park for 3 hrs outside hotel. Of an evening you can park outside from 8pm-8am free of charge, but longer times you will need to use the towns car park."
