"Pooley Bridge is one of my favourite places on earth. I've been going since 1982 and on that occassion I had a pint or two in the Pooley Bridge Inn. I've stayed before here and it's great to know that it's still as fabulous as it's alwasy been. Room was beautiful, balcony was lovely to have. Food is outstanding, the staff are all so helpful and full of joy. It has such a positive vibe, fills you with energy and also relaxes too. 10 out of 10"

"The hotel is a large old inn on the outside, but inside is modern, clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and looked after us very well. For example: we were shown to our room on arrival (never had that before) and were a font of knowledge about the various local walks and sights. There is even a map painted on the ceiling of the bar! Restaurant was an excellent source of hearty and freshly cooked meals (breakfasts and dinners). Highly recommend."

"Overall we had a lovely stay at the Greenhill Hotel. The food was excellent and all the staff friendly; especially the lady serving breakfast who couldn’t do enough for us even when we came down to breakfast late on the last day! I do feel the room rate is a little high considering the bedroom furniture is looking a little tired and the cleanliness of the shower left a lot to be desired but this was pointed out and some money was knocked off our final bill.
