"Overall the room was clean and tidy, bedding and towels immaculate and the bed and pillows comfy. The shower was lovely and hot and powerful. Sadly no mattress cover. The extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and the underside of the bathroom taps had lots of limescale plus the washer between the shower head and hose seemed to have gone so it was leaking.There was no one on reception when I left to give feedback on these small issues"

"A very nice hotel, conveniently located near the cathedral, castle & old town. The executive rooms are rather ambitiously named. I would say they are the minimum standard you’d expect from a good hotel these days. Comfortable and adequate. Walls are a little thin, in terms of noise - which could be a problem if you have noisy neighbours. Also cheap and nasty toilet paper which takes the edge of the ‘executive’ experience. Breakfasts were lovely and the staff attentive and friendly enough, though...

"The electric fire in my caravan did not work. The carpets although clean on the surface could do with a deep clean to revive the pile. I reported this to reception. Overhead low flying aircraft every day were very noisy, I know this can't be helped with an RAF base right next door. Otherwise my stay was fine."
