"This motel was very convenient for a function we had to attend near Matakana and within easy walking distance of the town. Though the unit we were given was spacious, it was dated, while the arrangement of the furniture was rather unusual in that it was difficult to access the bathroom. We also missed having a light/lights near the bed for reading."

"Like this property. The rooms are big and very comfortable. The only thing we were disappointed about was because it being Christmas Day on our first morning our room was not serviced and we had no dry towels or clean washcloths on our 2nd morning. We understand the holiday problem but fresh towels could have been left for us. Other than that all was good and would stay again."

"The Bridgehouse was clean and great location. The staff were friendly and efficient. We ate in for dinner at the Brisgehouse. Food was great. Good variety of choices. Service was quick and friendly. We will go back."

"We stayed at this motel, to help break up our journey south. The room was spacious, spotless and comfortable. Despite its location adjacent the highway, the room was quiet with a rural outlook. Our room looked suitable for a wheelchair bound person with wide doorways and spaces between furniture. Accommodation was about 10mins walk to town center. Room had a range of modern amenities "

"A curious property. We stayed for one night on our way back from the far North of NZ. No on-site dining of any kind was available: no breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The "Cafe" was closed. Our room/studio was quiet, with a separate bedroom featuring the best mattress of our long trips to NZ.
