The tubs are not private - you can be seen from the parking lot and the sidewalk on the public street - so I had to use it with my swimsuit on. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. The furnishings inside the studio are a bit tired. For example, the couch seems like something you would find at IKEA and is not built for commercial use. There...

"The River Lodge is a beautiful property set in lovely grounds. We had a large beautiful room, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and a balcony with a wonderful view of the mountain. We had fabulous breakfasts and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside is that it is quite remote - about a 10 minute drive into Ohakune."
