"Beautiful cozy cottages, modern amenities, close driving distance to waterfalls. Isolated, low light pollution great for stargazing and northern lights. The loft cottages have upper loft floor with sky window, very cool. For a couple with or without small child is enough space. Communication with access instructions was easy. People have complained about inflexible cancellation policy, but these are family-run cottages, not a big hotel, so they depend on the income and last minute cancellations have impact on the local people"

"Great location right on the main highway. Hotel is tucked away far from the street so no road noise. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was great. Room was spacious and comfortable. We got the room that you could park your car by it so it was easy to get the bags in and out. Dining area had a nice setup and there was also a cozy living room area set up for TV and board games."

The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome (the cookies were such a sweet touch!). The views were out of this world—breathtaking mountains, waterfalls, and stunning Icelandic landscapes right outside the window. It was the perfect base for exploring the area, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Iceland. It’s a true gem!"
