"Our overall experience was great! Stayed 2 nights. The complimentary breakfast and dinner was very good, except for Christmas morning, non of the hot food was ready yet. Also, there were no coffee cups, plates, silverware in the hotel room. We were also disappointed there were no chairs on the terrace that we could sit on outside our room. "

"The Monte Vista is a very interesting historic hotel. The rooms, though, are a little worn around the edges and could use a little updating. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. The carpet was worn, and the room was cold. The heater didn’t work very good. But it was still super fun to stay there because of the location. There is a very fun, lively bar on the first level called The Rendezvous. There are also other fun bars/restaurants in the immediate vicinity. It is a great location!"

The not so great: Even though I had booked the reservation in June, somehow it was double booked, and I didn't get the Creek view I wanted. The Wi-Fi was spotty. There was something weird going on with the drains. A couple times each day, the started gurgling. It was actually sucking air into the drain.
