"Hotel had a great location. Easy to access the Kanazawa Castle and Kenroku en garden. Omicho Markets was as easy walk and a must do for fresh seafood. Live the washer dryer in the room. Highly recommend staying here. "

"It was such a pleasure living at this lovely hotel. It is extremely convenient being located so close to the railway station and good shopping area. There are many restaurants serving a good variety of food around the hotel. It is clean, both in the common areas and the room. The breakfast was generous with a good spread of local food. What a treat. We'll definitely return if we are in the neighbourhood. Kuddos to Toyoko Inn."

"Good place to stay, the floor where I was even if was suppose no smoking was smelling of cigarets probably in the past was a smoking area. Surprise me the condition of the hotel, normally APA chain are spotless clean and well maintained, this hotel looks a bit under-standard."

"I liked the simplicity of the facilities and convenience of the location. Nightwear was comfortable and the temperature of the room was very warm. Breakfast was good. I wish there had been a coffee maker in the room and some smaller washcloths. Thank you for hosting me! "

"Comfortable, clean, convenient hotel close to the train/bus station. Nice beds, good amenities, friendly staff. And GREAT generous breakfast, which filled us up with healthy, varied food for the morning, with western, japanese and chinese food options. Also there's a 7/11 right outside the front door for dining in on occasion."

"Hotel Amanek was a real joy to stay at. The facilities are immaculate and the staff are polite and efficient. The area is very convenient and most if not all Kanazawa sites are easily walkable. It is best to take a taxi from the train station to get to the hotel though (approximately 1500 Y) I would definitely stay here again."

"Great location and lovely hotel. The hot springs are fantastic, however only giving you one towel for both showering and the springs is a bit cheap. I'm also not a fan of the "online check in" kiosks, but otherwise a nice stay. "

"After a long haul flight and two and a half hours in the shinkansen, falling into the comfortable bed at this hotel was like heaven. The room was extremely clean and spacious. Staff was so friendly. Loved everything about this hotel "

"The room was good with a soaking tub and shower. A separate toilet with the Japanese bidet. Only heater and opened the window for cold air. Both Japanese breakfast and american breakfast with OJ, coffee, croissant, bread, scrambled eggs noodle soup, pancake, waffle, sausage, meatballs, and side dish items."

"Good location in some ways, as it is within the railway station. You need earplugs though, as it's noisy at nighttime and in the early morning hours - you can hear street noise and trains and bells etc. But that's the only real downside to it. Wearing earplugs reduces the noise level - didn't completely block it out though. Just be aware of that... "
