"Location: 8-9 mins from the station so an easy walk. Staff: they were friendly and helpful. Hotel: clean, and has everything you need for a nice stay. It has an artificial onsen (spa) separate for men and women. Note coin laundries are located within the spa change area. Con: no signage at all for the coin laundry which others staying also struggled to find. Information is available via the room tv but you’ve really got to go through it to find that location info. Room: typical style for this chain hotel. Clean, fresh, with bathroom and shower unit. These rooms are the typical size which is fine.bed was comfortable. Water pressure is low but maybe a water saving thing which is fine, wasn’t a big deal. Room temperature is controlled centrally within the hotel, limited room control on it meaning you can’t change temperature, open a window if you need. We all feel temperature different so it was fine but I do prefer the option of how I like the temperature Food etc was all about 5 mins away. Plenty around the train station for people to enjoy. Toyama is really pretty. It’s surrounded by high mountains that were covered in snow and just looked so beautiful. I hope to get back and explore Toyama more in the future."

"Great location as it was close to attractions, bus line, train station and restaurants. It was a beautiful hotel. Bed was comfortable. They provided excellent amenities that are rare to receive back in the US. Loved having a refrigerator, microwave and washer/dryer. Only wish there was a second chair with a backrest not just a stool to sit on at the table in the room. Would readily stay here again. "

"The Hotel is in an excellent location, it is just across the road from Toyama Station & close to all the tram lines,shops & restaurants. The room is spacious, clean & the bed was very comfortable. We highly recommend the hotel breakfast, there is a choice of a traditional Japanese breakfast or a buffet breakfast. We tried both and they were excellent. Breakfast is the highlight of our stays at this hotel. We would like to pay a special mention to Mitsuru Matsui San ( Rico Monte restaurant manager ) for his hospitality, friendliness,attentiveness & great service for the three days, it was a very memorable experience. "Really lovely hotel - next to Daiwa shopping centre and on the main tram route (hotel will give you free tram tickets on request) The onsen facilities are extremely good and the main reason to pick this hotel over its competitors. No gym but multiple franchise gyms in the vicinity. 5 minutes away is the incredible coffee shop “Sixth or Third” (English-speaking)"
