"Outstanding place. Very rustic, delicious food, great sevice and immaculate accommodation. The only downside is the noise of the traffic when you are staying in the roof rooms as there is little sound insulation. Take earplugs and you will sleep soundly!"

"The Bushel staff were so friendly and helpful and allowed us a slightly earlier check-in to attend my daughter's wedding. The location of the hotel was perfect in the centre of Bury St Edmunds with the addition of free parking. The breakfast was good and the portions excellent. We had drinks at the bar & all the staff we dealt with were great. Thank you for providing a very comfortable stay in Bury St Edmunds."

"Superb stay. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Evening meal was delicious, pub quiz great fun, beer very nice with great variety of ales, and breakfast in the morning was wonderful (amazing Eggs Florentine). All the staff were very welcoming and friendly, nothing too much trouble."

"Lovely little ‘quirky’ hotel. The owners were delightful and very helpful. Food was delicious. I did find the stairs to the room quite a challenge due to osteoarthritis, but mobile people wouldn’t find this an issue. The room was adequate and serviced daily. The was a tv - the fact that I could only get one channel at a set volume added to the overall experience. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were replenished daily. Bathroom was small and could do with a touch of paint, but...
