"I was in room 321 and the basin hot tap did not work also the shower took an age to drain away,something that housekeeping should have noticed while cleaning,overall the building was tired with dirty carpets etc,the staff though were excellent"

The room had recently been refurbished and there were a couple of small issues- missing remote control, broken hairdryer, issue with the toilet- however the staff sorted these straight away and all the staff could not do enough to help. They were all friendly and polite. "

"The hotel use to be a police station,so the building has lots of character. It is lacking in chef so the breakfast was limited however adequate. The room was nice and the bed was comfy even if outdated. "

"The staff were helpful at check-in. I had a double room. The bed was comfortable. Each guest got a biscuit and square of chocolate. There was a selection of teas, coffee bags and hot chocolate. There was an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. The room was very warm. There was an issue with the cleaning. There was hair in the bath and the wall mirror in the bedroom was dirty. The curtains were dirty. I used the pedal bin in the bathroom and the lid fell off missing my foot. The pedal bin lid...
