"Saku Boutique Homestay is a delightful B&B that brings together both Thai and French motifs. We just returned again from a 2 week stay ( we have been there 3 times now) and highly recommend the experience to those desiring a safe, comfortable and charming place in a village just outside of Chiang Mai, without the typical institutional hotel setting. "Arrived late on a Tuesday and things were dark and office unmanned but soon sorted by the manager. We awoke to find the darkness was hiding a hidden delight literally 400m from the bustling 108 road. A lovely tranquil setting, comfortable suites, extremely friendly staff with wonderful food make this a lovely place to come outside the hurly burly of downtown Chiang Mai. Airport about 45 minutes drive away. Great for all the attractions in the south like Mae Weng, Doi Inthanon and others."

"Not what i was expecting for $273 USD. The furniture and accessories were cheap or old (apart from a brand new refrigerator). There was construction right next to our room and our view consisted of a few trees, a tired, old, swimming pool some distant mountains and a giant construction site. The room is not regularly used as evidenced by the dusty cabinets, few amenities and a broken jacuzzi tub. The hotel is understaffed and distant. "Quaint hotel conveniently located. The hotel is a short drive to the center of town with a laundry and restaurant with food like my mother cooked less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Plenty of parking, too. "
