"Nice room and pool area. Bed was firm. Cold water only in washbasin. Toilet seat loose and reported on arrival but still not fixed after 5 days despite reminder. Hotel is surrounded by water land and building sites and does not have easy access to beach. Main road is difficult to walk on to get to local town as no pavement and surfaces very uneven. "

"People were out late making noice at the pool right outside our patio and the beds only had sheets for blankets. Other than those two things the stay was excellent. The water pressure was fabulous, bed is comfortable and the place is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The one gentleman flagged down a cab for us. "

"Golden Palm was a nice, well kept resort. Nice gardens and the pools were wonderful. The rooms are standard but the air conditioning works well and we had a nice balcony. The breakfast was just ok, but the staff of the hotel were very nice and helpful. The resort is on a quiet street around the corner from several restaurants, cafes, bars and Alona Beach. Great location to have a quiet sleep, but nearby the action. Would recommend staying here."

"We had a fabulous time at LRR. The staff are incredibly sweet and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Housekeeping decorated our room for my partner’s birthday and it was amazing. The rooms are spotless as is the pool area and hotel generally. The excursions offered by the hotel are also very good including the private river cruise and the fire fly tour. The restaurant staff are also great, stick to local dishes and you can’t go wrong. "

"Beautiful place. Villas are perfect and private. Excelent breakfast with lots of choices. Merienda/snack is a bonus. Friendly staff. Rec. Merienda signage did not match what was actually served. Villa outside flooring in patio and pool area all the same color despite having to step up/down. Tripping hazard. My 88 year old mother did not notice it. She tripped and fell resulting in a bump on her head and very dark bruising around her eyes, knees and right hand. Staff provided ice, when asked...

"Excellent location. Bar plays music till 11pm. Builders on site start work at 6.45am. So bring ear plugs. "
