"We arrived on Ascencion day from the little yellow train to no bus or taxi from Villefranc to the hotel - locals gathered together at the station to take us to the hotel in a private car - refused to accept any payment. Next day we needed to do washing, again let down by taxi's to get to laundry (at the local supermarket and a local again gave us a lift but let down again by taxi's to return (not far enough). The dryer did not work so back to hotel with damp washing. Immediately hotel stepped...

"We stayed for 4 nights over the Easter weekend, watching the motorcycle trial in Sant Joan de les Abadesses and sight seeing in the process. I had been here once before for an afternoon and was very impressed and vowed to return. We had a room with tremendous views and the facilities were pristine. The food at breakfast time was second to none, a variety of continental and cooked breakfast choices. "The location is in a small village in the mountains and driving in and out is not easy. The property itself is a bit dated but is very charming. The staff and service were excellent. Note that the price does not include breakfast. We stayed on the third floor and internet was unavailable le in the room - we had to go down to the lobby for internet connection. Breakfast and the restaurant were great."

"A present surprise in a quite residential area but just a short walk into the small beautiful old town. We enjoyed a beer at a bar in the town square before walking back to the Hotel for Dinner. Charming restaurant with very nice food and a super helpful waiter who spoke excellent English and made us very welcome. Breakfast was simple but adequate. "Excellent séjour en famille au Moulin de Sournia ! Un grand merci pour l’accueil chaleureux et la grande disponibilité du personnel, en particulier de la gérante. On se sent tout de suite à l’aise dans ce village vacances. L’appartement était très bien, spacieux et avec tout le nécessaire. Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps à la piscine, parfaite pour se détendre. L’environnement est très apaisant, avec la vue sur l’étang. "La casa rural está muy bien acondicionada y preparada con todos los servicios. El área de juegos tanto exterior como sala interior con mesa de ping-pong, son una muy buena alternativa."

"Good location. Nice rooms but looking a bit run down. Bucket under sink to collect drips in one of our two rooms - this was not fixed during our two day stay as promised. However the place does have charm. Breakfast was added to our bill although we did not take it. I had to ask to have it removed."

Staff described as English speaking didn't understand much and didn't offer much in the way of helpful tourist info. Main pool excellent however chairs in pool area only appeared on the last day. Would go back though."
