Tout était bien dans la maison, Si nous devions faire juste un reproche est sur l accès à la piscine il n y a que trois marches pour descendre dans la piscine de 1, 55 m de profondeur. Ce qui est gênant pour les enfants et pour les personnes âgées. Hormis ce point tout était génial. Jean-Luc"

"We had a fun week at the house (last week of May 2018) - 4 adults and 4 children aged 2 to 8. It has everything you could need. Roger kindly gave us lots of advice and suggestions of things to do when we arrived. There is a nice Auberge down in the village which is within walking distance (maybe not for small children though) and has a bar and play area for children. Otherwise you have to drive for every outing, but there is a lot to do within half an hour. There is the odd spot in the garden...

"We all enjoyed our stay. The area is very quiet, and on reflection a bit too quiet for us but would suit people looking to get away from it. The view from the garden is fantastic. The kids loved the pool and especially the tree house. The childrens room was absolutely fine for them and great to have a bath. House was.comfortable, lovely big sofa. "Nous avons passé de superbes vacances d'été en famille. La maison est exceptionnelle avec ses 6 chambres. Mon papa ne supportant pas la chaleur, il a pu se ressourcer à l'étage dans le salon climatisé, nous ne la mettions même pas en bas mais elle fonctionne très bien. Beaucoup d'équipements, de vaisselle, tout est pensé pour fonctionner en famille nombreuse. De 3 ans à 60 ans en passant par les ados, chacun a pu se créer des merveilleux souvenirs en famille. "Our extended family group (2 families + grandparent+visiting friends) had a fabulous stay at Martin's holiday home. The children in our group loved the pool and spent hours in it, while the adults especially enjoyed breakfasts and dinners in the beautiful garden, all accompanied by the sound of fresh running water from the mountains. The many bedrooms are lovely and comfortable, the kitchen is large and a joy to cook in, and, again, the garden is idyllic. Martin himself is a fantastic host, kind...

"Not sure where to begin! The house is absolutely fabulous: vast rooms, very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and fabulous garden with pool. It was just perfect for our family group with lots of space. The pictures in the listing don’t do it justice. Beautiful traditional French house in the centre of Saint Jean, a village we know well and love. Great central location with easy access to larger towns and the coast. Highly recommended!"

"La casa y la estancia muy cómoda y bien. La propietaria, que no conocemos, un desastre. Éramos 25 personas, dejamos la casa limpia y ordenada pero la propietaria se quejaba de que no habíamos pasado la aspiradora y que no hicimos los baños. Quería que fuéramos su equipo de limpieza para la próxima entrada de gente. Y nos cobró 300€ de más con todo el morro. Suerte que di la targeta de baja para que no pudiera hacerlo. Una vergüenza que no nos habíamos encontrado nunca. No recomiendo, queríamos...

"The house is beautifully renovated in a Catalan style, traditional to this area. It has everything you need for short or long term stays and is very homely. The village (Palalda) is a perfect location on the south facing (sunny!) side of the mountain. Great for sports as there are so many cycling, running/ hiking routes in the area and it is close to the lake at Saint Jean and not far from the coast."
