"Simple basic hotel in a mostly residential area, fine for 1 night stay, good full English breakfast included, friendly helpful staff. We had a disabled room with a huge wet room style bathroom, clearly very helpful for a guest with mobility issues. Only downside was the very small hand basin. Would stay again when in the area."

"Friendly, helpful staff.Room was comfy and clean with amazing views. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Outside grounds need maintenance looks uncared for,which is a shame because this is a wedding venue. Crickhowell is a delight and can be walked to from hotel as there is a pavement once you get to the bottom of the drive. Plenty of places to hike/walk in the area. "

"It is just the kind of inn we imagined for our stay in Wales. They serve good food and drinks, have a good mix of friendly local and is very clean. Unfortunately the ceilings are too low for me in much of the inn, including parts of our second floor room. I am 6’ 6" so it might not bother others. All in all, I like the place giving it extra points for charm and atmosphere. "
