"It was better than good but not quite excellent. The toilet was low and sometimes wouldn’t stop running. I didn’t bother to call anyone because I just jiggled the handle and it stopped. There is no front desk or employees present and you must call someone to get any information or help, which they gladly and pleasantly provide. I am disabled and I called in advance and was given a first floor room, no problem. It’s an old house and very cool so you really can’t compare it to any modern hotel....

"Pros: This was a great stay for a great price. Office staff was very friendly. Newly renovated, very clean rooms. Cons: Linens and comforters were very thin. Parking lot had trash in the landscaping beds, including hygiene products, for both days of our stay. Very poor seal around the door - you can see light coming in all the way around, which means anyone smoking in the parking lot, or any other smells outside are going to come in. "

Only suggestion I would have is maybe have an extra blanket available in the room. Otherwise would definitely stay here again. Appalachicola is such a cool little town!"
