Come escape and relax in this completely renovated 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom beach front cottage. “Pura Vida” will be sure to ease your mind with expansive views of the gulf and white sand beaches right outside your door.

Open concept dining and living area overlook panoramic gulf views. Ocean front deck with built in bar, and comfortable seating provide the perfect place to enjoy a beachside meal, cold drink, and relaxation. New boardwalk with foot washing station leads to a gate that will allow for safety for small children. Hot/cold outdoor shower located at the top of the boardwalk.

The hallway leads to 3 well appointed bedrooms. The double bunk room can sleep 4 and is the perfect place for kids or teens. This room opens to the hallway with a shared bathroom with the 2nd queen bedroom. The master bedroom features a king size bed and private bathroom.

Newly renovated kitchen will provide ample cooking space and utensils for your needs. Cordless Roman shades throughout the home allow for privacy and room darkening.

Other amenities to include wireless internet service, multiple flat panel smart tv/ROKU that guests may utilize with their own log in.

For allergy and furniture maintenance reasons, Pura Vida is dog friendly ONLY! Thank you for your understanding.

Booster seat/chair attachment for children 9+ months old is available for use.

Beautiful and Fun Get Away
My friend, her dog and I stayed the week of April 20-27. We had a fabulous time! Pura Vida has a wonderful deck and a gorgeous wall of windows to look out over the beach! Everything you could want is in the house. We even had a bonfire in the fire pit and made some-mores with friends. The owners answered all texts immediately. It was a wonderful vacation and can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic! The home had everything we needed and was perfect for our family of 5. Right on the beach with the perfect porch for watching sunrises on a quiet stretch of beach. Craig was awesome - very quick to respond if we had questions and incredibly helpful! Already looking at dates to book again!

Beautiful Beach Cottage
We had a wonderful vacation at this lovely little beach cottage. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. The beach is beautiful and the location is perfect. We hope to be able to visit again soon.

Perfect house
This is the perfect house for small children. It’s our second time staying at this house because it’s so convenient. We hope to stay again next year but noticed a drastic price increase for 2024.

Pura Vida
We had a wonderful time at Pura Vida! The house had the most beautiful view of the Gulf and the most incredible waterfront, expansive porch. I always like to cook for my family on vacation, and the kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen with all the necessary kitchen tools for cooking. Also, the house was clean and in tip top shape! I would definitely rent this property again. It was like a dream spending a week at Pura Vida!

We miss SGI!!
This home has a wonderful view, with great access to a low key beach area! It had everything that we needed to relax and have a great week. The owners have added a lot of modern touches to the home, including the kitchen, which was my favorite space, besides the beach of course! We had a small maintenance issue, but the owners were easy to communicate with and we resolved it quickly. We will definitely come back to SGI and this house!

Pura Vida: A great way to start summer!
Enjoyed our stay here last year, so we invited friends to join us this time. We saw big waves & enjoyed calm waters, too. Renting chairs & umbrellas was so easy, and added to the fun. The house is a perfect layout in a perfect location. The kitchen is well appointed, and offered us dinner with the best view ever! The guys provided fresh-caught tripletail & we picked up steamed shrimp from Piggly Wiggly on SGI. Can’t wait to return !!!

Pure Relaxation
This was a long weekend get away. It has been over 20 years that my family has been visiting St. George Island and we have always changed location until now, Pura Vida was perfect great location beautiful little house and everything I needed while there coming for the family. The owners were amazing and very helpful. I will most definitely be back to this property again. The fire pit on the beach was amazing. Thank you so much for sharing you piece of paradise with my family.

The BEST view!
We absolutely loved our stay at Pura Vida! The deck with all of the extras made our stay so perfect. We have an 8 month old baby and the set up made it so easy and enjoyable. The huge windows that surround the back of the house made you feel like you were right on the beach when you were eating breakfast! Nothing like a cup of coffee while watching the dolphins swim by! We will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway
We had a great week in this house. The location is absolutely incredible. Right on the (uncrowded) beach, beautiful views of the ocean from both the house and the deck (including seeing dolphins swim by), beautiful sunrises/sunsets. We even enjoyed a few evenings by the firepit. The house was also only about a mile from the center of the island so we walked in for dinner / ice cream a couple times. The house itself was really cute and we found the kitchen to be really well equipped. Looking forward to going back.

Pura Vida is a wonderful beach house on the prettiest beach I have seen in the US. Not only is the location and scenery amazing but Pura Vida has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked, beds are comfy and the entire house was super clean. The washer and dryer were great to have as well. The fire pit was my favorite. It was so much fun to have a fire on the beach, relax, sit outside and look at the stars. Craig was a great host, checked on us when we got there and was available to answer any questions. I will definitely stay there again! 😊

We loved this house and SGI so much! Thank you so much for being pet friendly. It was neat to be able to enjoy the beach with our goldendoodle. The foot washing station was great and doubled as a good place for her to get fresh water. The enclosed deck was awesome too. The house itself was even cuter than the pictures. The windows along the beach side with the window seating were my favorite place to sit and read or just people watch. The kitchen was great and had new appliances it appeared. The king size bed was super comfy and the bathrooms had tons of towels. We biked, kayaked and rented a boat one day. I can't wait to come back!! If you are tired of over crowded beaches, this is your spot!!

Needs some TLC
The house had great ocean views. It was dirty when we got there. The master bath floor was filthy. There was a dirty dish rag in the kitchen sink and the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Master bedroom door knob is loose. Overall it could have been cleaner. Owners had someone come get some stuff from the owners closet while we were there. They also wanted to send someone to get the only key to the house to go make copies of it. It seemed they were not prepared for us to check in.

Perfect!
Pura Vida really was perfect. The house was recently renovated and we were lucky enough to be one of the first vacationers there. The deck was spectacular. Large, spacious with many seating options. The deck even had a foot spray hose and an outdoor shower with hot water! The living area was well decorated, spacious and comfy. The bedrooms were a little small but who cares... we didn't come to hang out in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the ice maker was quick! Never ran out!!! We used the firepit a couple times. It was perfect as well. Location wise it was ideal. 1 mile exactly to city center. Walk the beach or the road. The park was a good 3+ miles away. Perfect for a bike ride! Thanks so much for an awesome time and for sharing your beautiful house.
