There is a walkway at the end of the street that leads you to cafe's, takeaways, bakery and a pub. If you need to be near the hospital, this is a great location. They now have EV chargers. Very close to Penrith. "

However, the weekend was the worst weather, so we didn't end up going. But still, we had a great weekend away in Katoomba, and our room was perfect for our needs.
