"I stayed here recently on a short break in Lincoln. It’s well located in a quiet area very near the castle. The staff were absolutely lovely - friendly and helpful. Stokes cafe and a great tapas restaurant are just across the courtyard and there’s a large pay and display car park behind the hotel if you drive. The hotel is very attractive and is gradually getting investment. My room was one that has already been renovated and was of a great standard. My only criticism would be that the mattress...

"Amazing stay. Rooms were furnished really well, great size. Bed was super comfortable. All the staff were super welcoming and the breakfast and dinner were both delicious and reasonably priced. Great value and definitely the best stay in the area. "

I stayed in Room 15, which I have stayed in before, which is a bit on the small side and could do with a tea making table instead of having to use the bedside table. The worst issue is that on both occasions', the room has a strong smell of "drains/damp" Whilst I would happily stay here again, I would not stay in this room again"

"Would have given it 5 stars if we'd have been able to have a go at the footgolf. The price seemed good just wasnt sure on the condition of the playing area so we didnt risk it. The place was so tranquil. We'd potentially go again maybe in summer though although it was plenty warm enough even in the coldest days of winter "
