"The hotel was absolutely gorgeous and the room was lovely. The staff were very nice and at first it was an amazing experience. The breakfast was ok there was very limited choice and everything was very sweet there was no savoury options other than ham, cheese and bread. The location isn’t really near anything it took us just under an hour to walk there and 35 minutes on public transport. The day before we left we asked if they had a laundry service and if it was free, the receptionist said yes...

"This was a lovely traditional old hotel with real Italian hospitality. In a quiet side street yet 15 minutes from the station and the Duomo. I loved the proper old style customer service and the breakfast was decent, especially as there was a large party in which meant it was busy."

"Top rate super hotel, couldn't fault the service and my stay. It's more like a 4 star for sure, they really look after you, like a friend, from the word go. Free drink in the bar before 9pm each night, tasty breakfast with yummy pastries and fruit, yoghurt etc. Free soft drinks and water in room each day. Room was massive with marble like floor, so much bigger than expecting. Bathroom very good size again. Location perfect for a tourist, close to duomo and metro. So pleased I found and booked...

"There is a nice cafe within walking distance. While the location did not have much else around, the tram stop across the street was convenient to access the rest of the city. While we enjoyed the convenience, we were disappointed that the air conditioning and hot water did not work properly. Compared to other hotels around northern Italy, it was a bit outdated (elevators, bathrooms, etc.). Parking was a hassle to figure out and cost €20 each night. "
