"Our room was smaller than a closet but fits our budget and was very functional. The entire place was clean with lots of space to lounge. Front desk staff were very helpful. The bed was single (European size) and the sheets and towels were clean. Bring wall adaptor coz U.S. plugs will not work here. There's luggage storage and a laundry room complete with folding table and ironing supplies. This was a totally welcome surprise. "Great hotel, at the beautiful city center near Metro. Staff did a superb job at directing me to the nearby 1733 Danish food restaurant, a delicious eatery, and made a reservation for me, which was fantastic as it was my first time in Copenhagen. Next morning the day shift staff explained how to catch the Metro to the airport, which proved faster than the taxi I took the day before from the airport to the hotel at a fraction of the cost. Bravo! I highly recommend the Strand Hotel!"
