"The property is very well run by attentive & friendly staff. Although we didn't use all the facilities as we only stayed one night there was lots to do at the hotel including a spa experience, games room, bar & lots more. The breakfast was very nice and freshly cooked but as I'm vegan the choice was limited. I would highly recommend this hotel as it's in a very convenient location opposite the beach & close to shops & restaurants & bars."

"Very clean, comfortable room. Pretty quiet considering Main Street location. There’s no food available but space provided to eat your own if you want and plenty of tea and coffee in the lounge. Stayed on a Sunday so it was cheaper price - not sure if it’s worth top dollar but it’s a nicely done place. "

"Tom and the rest of the team could not have been more lovely and accommodating. I 100% recommend the Alexandra Hotel in Weymouth and my partner and I are already looking forward to our next visit. We would love to stay there again. The hotel is a grade 2 listed building full of character, with the most amazingly comfortable sofas in the lounge. The guest notes are full of humour and show how much the owners care about the hotel, the guests, the environment and everyone having a lovely holiday in Weymouth. We arrived early but that wasn't a problem, Tom checked us straight in. He then sorted us out with a parking permit , despite my not arranging anything in advance with the hotel. I'm sure that during peak season this might not be so easy to achieve but I do know that if it's possible and will make the guest's stay better then Tom and the team will do their upmost to meet your needs."

"We always stay here if visiting Weymouth. It's has a good size carpark and it's a short walk to the town. There is a swimming pool, but not safe guarded so little ones need to be accompanied by an adult. The rooms are spacious, the dinning hall & food is great, although drinks are pricey. "

"This was an absolute gem of a retreat. I was on a choir visit at The Abbey and needed to get there and back quickly between rehearsals and services and the place was just gorgeous. Beautifulmbig bedroom with all those little touches and sweet garden. Staff really helpful about leaving the car there after checkout and having a friend over for coffee. Breakfast was incredible…I want to come back!!!"
