We had a room with both tatami and western beds (raised off the ground) which worked very well for the elders in our group that weren't used to sleeping on the ground. No shower/bath in the room as the expectation is to use the public baths (or private family baths which are first come first serve basis). "Very big room, got dining table, sofa, our biggest room in Japan. But no reception, it’s a self check in. No luggage storage before check in. Close to station which is very nice. Our room got washing machine, and bathroom got air drying system, so clothes will dry quickly."

"Compared to other APAs that we have visited, the room only had 2 pillows, and they were the least comfortable variety. Other APAs usually had 4 pillows, 2 more dense and compact, and 2 softer and lighter. Aside from that, very similar to other APAs."
