"This was a good location for getting around downtown Cape Town. It was easy and inexpensive to use Uber to go to places that were a little farther away. The hotel does not have a concierge so we had to figure out a lot of things on our own. The bed was a little hard, and the pillow is very flat."

"I love the repurposing of old buildings, and The Old Foundry has done this with great practical and aesthetic execution. The room was small, but we knew this when we booked. "We absolutely loved our time at the Trade. The rooms were adorable and fully equipped with everything you could ever need. The staff were lovely and accommodating and the area was so lively and vibrant. The street gets a bit loud as there are a few bars across the street so definitely be prepared; bring ear plugs and ask for a quieter room on weekends if you’re a light sleeper. All in all 10/10. We wish we had a Trade in our city! "
