"The bathroom was dirty and not cared properly. I had to buy toilet-bowl cleaner to whiten the bowl.Hot water was so-so, either got it too cold or too hot The bathroom was badly done - when you take a shower the water splashes all over where the toilet and sink are. Judging by the poor breakfast , which I had only 4 times in my 2 weeks stay, I never had any meals at the hotel. Around the hotel there are reasonably priced restaurants for a good meal. "This is probably the nicest hotel in central Moshi for Europeans on their first trip to the region. You have to remember that this is Africa and things don't always work but on balance this is a good safe place to stay. Once lesson for us was we were pretty much the only Europeans in the town, trekkers and safari people tend to stay outside, so be prepared, this is a busy African town not a tourist place"

"Lodge was nice. It’s older but they are doing their very best to maintain. Gardens and trees were mature. Pretty! Monkeys were fun to watch as they played and clambered through the trees. Food was good but limited options. Breakfast that was included was really good! Staff were kind and helpful. Shop was small, some souvenirs. Rooms were clean, some tiny and some much bigger even though we paid same rate 2 different stays (before and after our Kili climb). It met our needs for sure of a quiet...

"I arrived at the property at 4am. My driver woke someone up in order for the gates to be opened. From the moment I stepped into this magical world, I felt swept away by the atmosphere, the 4 poster bed, the warm shower, the surrounding nature and even the charming monkeys running on the property. I enjoyed an in-room massage and a fantastic breakfast and lunch. Five stars are not enough. This place is definitely a 10 out of 10. "

"The overall atmosphere, plants , trees, poolside area was charming, The stafff were cheerful,welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent and began promptly at 6.30am. Very useful and important for those of us with abusy day ahead! The vening food was cooked to order and also delicious. The water heater in our room did not work but the room was otherwise good and the housekeeping also good."

The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. "Is a very simple and quiet hostel. My room was cozy and small. The building is old and not too modern. The plumping can be bad. If you are not into luxury and you are a simple person and dont really care about materials then this place is good for you. If you are not like that then this place is not for you. Is located in the main road of moshi so it easy to walk around. The price is realy good with a simple breakfast. Its a fair deal. "
