"I was traveling with my 20 year old son for spring break. Overall, Hotel Plaza Yara was a very nice place to stay. The staff was professional, attentive and helpful. The daily breakfast was plentiful and quite tasty -- fresh fruit, eggs, plantains, rice and beans, toast, banana pancakes -- lots of choices! "The Hotel Novo was as described, great staff, hotel could do with some tlc but I was only one night here arriving late from the airport and heading to the Pacific next day. Room was clean, bed was comfy, WiFi worked fine and breakfast was much appreciated. Couldn't adjust the air con but that could have been user error from my side. Can't really complain from a price/quality point of view. Also there was no noise but I was not on the street side. Really handy if you are using the bus station."
