Staff are friendly, but the price isn't worth the room. And you hope the people that stayed before you clean it to an industry standard. "We arrived on Ascencion day from the little yellow train to no bus or taxi from Villefranc to the hotel - locals gathered together at the station to take us to the hotel in a private car - refused to accept any payment. Next day we needed to do washing, again let down by taxi's to get to laundry (at the local supermarket and a local again gave us a lift but let down again by taxi's to return (not far enough). The dryer did not work so back to hotel with damp washing. Immediately hotel stepped...

"Honestly, one of the worst places I have stayed in a while. Check-in was good and staff were helpful. However, from there it deteriorated quickly. The room was dated and very basic. No grill, no toaster, coffee machine was there but there was moldy coffee left in it. Walls had been repaired in a really poor way in places and the equipment was old and not clean. Worst thing about it was the fact that the place had clearly not been cleaned properly. It was really dirty. There was supposed to be...
