"This part of San Jose is now considered unsafe and is rather desolate looking. The owner is a sweetheart and very helpful. The room was rudimentary, not all that clean and ran out of hot water for the second morning shower (we were two of us). Breakfast is good, the pool area and the pool itself are pretty. What makes this place is the owner."

"The key didn't worked two times, meaning that they usually have issues with the configuration of the room keys. They offered a discount voucher for Dennys but when I asked for it they said they've run out of discounts. "Bathrooms need attention and renovation to a more modern standard. Furniture needs to be changed. Sofas were old yellow leather with lots of holes and rips in them. Great location, safe and quiet spot. Very spacious apartments, just need a good shake up."

Comfortable beds with pillow options (firm or soft) A/C and hot water worked great, good standard free hot hotel breakfast. The pool is small but refreshing and a lovely way to pass time while waiting for a flight. I would stay here again. "

"It is a simple yet effective place. The front desk is extremely helpful and supportive. It is a quite place 1 km from Escazú area where you can explore. If you are looking for glam this is not your place but if your good with exploring and simplicity then it is perfect. Great job!!. "
