"The front desk was on the ground floor, as usual in Europe. The lift that I never used was a little bit up the stairs. To get to the 1st floor, I had to climb another circular flight of stairs. The room I had was big enough for myself, with the bathroom having plenty of space. Overall, the fixtures were aged, worn, but clean. The bed was very comfortable, the pillow being a little shallow. I asked for a second pillow and promptly got it. My room overlooked the ferry terminal across the street....

"This is a basic beach hotel in Canne Torre and as we were visiting out of season (end May) and season starts in June..when we checked in the hotel and the resort were like a ghost town! Things were just about ok until about 100 school kids checked into the hotel and with rooms on our floor we had a nightmare of a night and very little sleep. After complaining several times we decided to check out the following morning and move to another hotel. We asked the hotel for a refund but did not get...
