"The staff at this hotel are so nice. The breakfast is really good. My room was comfortable, a little spartan but that was fine. Everything I needed was there. I love the lobby, I don’t know if you’d all it art deco or faded grandeur but I really did like it. This hotel is right in the middle of everything. The sea is 5 minutes walk in one direction, including the ferry terminal. The railway station 10 minutes in the other. I was very comfortable here."

Just 15 minute walk from the rail station. Just about a perfect place to stay in what quickly became one of my top 10 European cities. "

The staff was excellent, giving us recommendations for dinner and things to see, making reservations for us, etc. Breakfast was excellent; they accommodated our gluten free friends with special treats as well. There are a lot of outdoor areas to relax in if the weather permits and if there aren’t events going on there. The spa was only open if someone made an appointment (we were there out of season). "
