So much history in this building. Dinner menu was limited and they had run out of a few options too so a little disappointing but food reasonable and hot. Breakfast much better, no complaints there. "Booked two nights on a whim , we both loved it the room was perfect they even made sure we had same room both nights . Food was fantastic as well great service dog friendly which was so good to see . We ran over into late check out and was late for breakfast the staff wasn't fazed at all 10/10 stay definitely recommend "

"Been here before so knew what to expect. Lovely room with modern facilities right in the centre of town. Great staff and the building is nearly 400 years old so fabulous atmosphere. Be aware that as the room we had (3) is right over the bar, so can get noisy "

"All areas were spotless and well maintained. Only negative was lack of heating in the bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff, good food in the pub and blue badge parking near reception made this a great place for an overnight stay. Would definitely come again."
