"This is a standard hotel. The Lodge name gave the impression that it may be something a little more, but it is updated, clean and nice. Beds were comfy and coffee was available 24/7. Location was ok, not too far from downtown. One drawback was it does have thin walls. They do provide a white noise machine to help I’m with that. They did have the best breakfast selection out of all the places we stayed this weekend. "

"I love how unique our experience was from checking in reading the adorable welcome note (from the dog), to the nice size room and the history inside is fabulous. We loved our bartender, Parker, at the tavern inside. The food, drinks and atmosphere were fantastic! "

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was not open, the laundry room was closed with a sign on door to go to the local laundromat. The breakfast was terrible. It was microwaveable food. Nothing was prepared such as eggs, sausage or bacon. "

"It was a very pleasant stay and with parking just outside your room and all on the first floor -- it marries convenience with a Luxe version hotel like you were staying in a fancy Big Sur resort: the rooms have fire places, and balconies which look out onto a forested area behind the hotel. It is also very quiet even though it is relatively close to a highway. Staff are attentive and helpful. The location is an easy 15-minute walk up up Sunset Dr. to Main St. If you are there over the weekend...

"Loved the areas location. Dinning, shopping, and entertainment were close by. What I didnt like was the outdated furniture, as well as several places on the walls and ceiling needing repair. Overall, very good place for the price."

"Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!"
