"Overall a great property. The staff was very friendly and all spoke excellent English. The breakfast was above expectations. The only reason I did not rate it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ was because unfortunately there was a cover for the roller blinds that kept us up as it was windy outside and it was not properly fastened. I could not identify what was making the noise until the morning, but notified the front desk of the problem. "

"My partner and I spent 2 nights, enjoying very much the proximity to both the old town, the beach, and the train and bus stations as it sits in-between them all. For breakfast the Boulanger 2 blocks up was wonderful. Wish we had taken the breakfast back to the room and enjoyed on the generous balcony of the hotel room. The hotel feels like it might need some updating soon, but overall charming."

"Villa Sylva is a lovely old property with a gracious golden-age vibe. Staff were helpful and our room was incredibly large and accomodating. Unfortunately, the spa was out of order at the time of our stay, so we weren't able to fully enjoy."

Finding the reception was complicated since we had to register at the Miramar (far from the suites) because there was no one at the reception at the San Remo luxury suites. The included breakfast was out of this world, and we really enjoyed it. I still recommend for a one night stop like we did. "
