"Cheap and cheerful, which is what I expected. I was in Leeds visiting friends so I wasn't going to be in the hotel much excwet to sleep. And that was fine. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, though not very large. Facilities were basic, but as I as not there much, that was grand. "

We saw the same manager on shift Saturday evening, we had some drinks at the bar, watched her and the colleague she was with smoothly deal with customers checking in/out and still having a natter with us. "The hotel was lovely, we enjoyed it and we had a meal in the Amber restaurant which was also lovely although the menu was a little overcomplicated for my taste, and as a lifelong vegetarian I really don't want fake steak or any kind of fake meat. We thought the staff were lovely. It is really central you can walk anywhere from this hotel."

"A beautiful hotel in a beautiful town. The hotel had trouble with the boiler so it was very cold in the hotel, but the staff arranged an extra blanket for our bed. "

"I didnt agree with paying for parking the staff were amazing and so friendly i also booked a room with a double bed and sofa bed but only had a room with double bed it was also quite noisy as lots of door banging But the breakfast was amazing and a great variety Not located either by a local shop "

"On arrival the gentleman on reception was friendly and very helpful. My room was clean and fine for my needs. It was a little cool on arrival but I was soon able to alter the air conditioning to suit, which ran quietly. A welcome addition was a fridge which also was quiet in operation. I would have awarded 5 stars but for the breakfast which was very basic i.e. cereal,toast,croissants and fruit but good enough for a sound start to the day. I can recommend this hotel and will stay there again."
