"Central location for Te Papa, waterfront and shopping. Staff were all pleasant. Big room. Downside is no air con and no fan in the bathroom. The windows open. Probably not normally a problem in Wellington but it was warm so the room was warm. A bonus for us: fresh milk whenever we asked for it. I would recommend and stay again."

We found a couple disappointing cleaning details, which we will make hotel aware of. However would certainly stay again. Especially if 3 of us, to have separate room each. Was fantastic. "

It is definitely showing signs of wear and its age, but the rooms were fairly clean and spacious (I found a hair on the bathroom basin, otherwise it would have been very good). Excellent value for money, especially given its location and claim to fame (The Rolling Stones stayed there in 1965) "
