Our room was direct above the bar and looked over the smoking entrance so was loud until closing. Overall a great, comfortable stay. "Stayed for 2 nights with my wife. In a comfy room which had been refurbished. The room was compact but unless you were planning to spend a whole day in the room, it was perfect for sleeping and getting ready for the day. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who showed us to our room and explained the facilities and was really friendly along with the other staff throughout our stay. "Fantastic location, convenient base for short Ullswater stay. Staff mostly great and welcoming, rooms very clean, corridors and paintwork showing wear and many scuffs. Room tea coffee facilities excellent, evening meal was very average and probably over priced. Breakfast, service and overall environment lovely and excellent service. Set us up well for the day and one of the nicest breakfasts I've had. Would definitely consider a return stay when in Ullswater. "

"This is our 3rd stay at Latimer House, and it’s perfect for us. The location is good and the rooms are big enough. The only problem we encountered this stay was the radiator wouldn’t heat up fully so of a morning the room was very cold, the radiator probably just needs bleeding but in 3 years we have stayed here that’s the first problem we’ve ever had. The bed as always was very comfy and the tv allows you to log into your Netflix and Amazon prime account which is nice. There is no check in...

"Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location overlooking Hope park. The room was immaculate, the bed was great, bathroom spotless and the views have to be some of the best in Keswick. ALL the staff were very helpful and the hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast was also fantastic with everything local and fresh. All in all a fantastic place to stay, thank you."
