"Great location, absolutely amazing staff and food!"

"The property was good including breakfast. The only downside was that we hadn't seen on the website that the night we stayed was a Christmas Party night. This meant a disco so we could hear the base of the music in our room. Then after midnight the disco etc was loaded on to a van. So we were disturbed. Maybe whwn we booked in we should have been made aware. Generally though a good stay. "

Rooms can be a bit quirky and floors abit uneven but the building is 400 years old.Faclities in the rooms were modern and what you'd expect. Continental breakfast is included but with a good range of options but no cooked breakfast. Having said that the evening menu looks typical pub rather than restaurant fare but the use of quality ingredients in the hands of a cook who really knows and...

"Well outfitted room. Lovely meals both breakfast and evening meal. Helpful owners who put food products we had bought in the hotel fridge. Very good value "

"Set in a very quiet area. Lovely views from our very spacious room overlooking the gardens. Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the breakfast as we had to leave before they started serving at 8am"
