The setting was convenient and the room and public areas were clean and modern, but with traditional wood all round. However, the evening menu was a bit limited - to burgers and pizzas. "The Uman Lodge is a unique place in Patagonia. It was built on a cliff facing great mountains and over the Futalelfu river, that shows splendorous from any room in the hotel. Rooms are spacious, all made of local woods, with a very attractive architecture. Food was outstanding and the spa included sauna, hot tub, indoor and outside panoramic pools. Highly recomendable and 8 minutes drive from town. Manu trekings, mountain bike roads and the best river beach I’ve seen around"

"Wonderful unique spot. Great staff. They will do all they can to help you enjoy the lodge to the fullest. Take an early morning dip in the crystal clear lake......or not. Take part in the Yoga sessions. Take the kayaks out for a spin. Enjoy the hot tub with a marvelous view."
