I read some reviews on this hotel that complained about dingy/shredding towels; no window, etc. We had a room with a window opening to the hallway and hallway magically turned into a courtyard with daylight and delightful sounds of birds. Our towels were not the whitest or newest, but we weren’t looking for pristine towels. "The Hotel Novo was as described, great staff, hotel could do with some tlc but I was only one night here arriving late from the airport and heading to the Pacific next day. Room was clean, bed was comfy, WiFi worked fine and breakfast was much appreciated. Couldn't adjust the air con but that could have been user error from my side. Can't really complain from a price/quality point of view. Also there was no noise but I was not on the street side. Really handy if you are using the bus station."

Rooms are big and the area is quiet. The only negative is that there aren't a lot of places to eat nearby for a quick bite. Overall good and safe area to stay."
