"We enjoyed our stay, appreciating the quiet location and pretty view. The self serve breakfast in the breakfast nook hit the spot. Our second floor room was airy and well appointed. Regretfully we only spent a single night. The lodge is conveniently located for visiting the national park. "

"A little gem of a property. Built around a courtyard, the motel was very quiet. It is off the main road, but easily within walking distance and a 2 minute drive into town. There is a small playground nearby as well as a fantastic Carrotland Adventure Playground (with flying fox and confidence court!) in town. The motel was extremely clean, and the staff were friendly and generous with towels etc. There is a private hot tub/spa pool available which we really enjoyed. Beds were SUPER comfortable and curtains were great at blocking out all light. Kitchen comes with all you would expect - small/bar fridge, small oven and stovetop, dishes, pots, microwave, etc - so it is easy to self-cater and save some money that way. (There is a New World supermarket in town as well as dairies, cafes, etc) There are several shelves of DVD's and books that you can borrow, and our 2 night stay was very pleasant. We would happily return. "

"We were upgraded from a 2 bedroom to a 5 bedroom (we still only used 2 bedrooms) but had a nice large house with a fireplace. Loved coming in from the snow to a cosy house. "
