"The staff was friendly, the service was good. Soundproofing could be improved, the area around is noisy. The room was well-appointed, but could be freshened up (the sink had a crack, the bathtub mat was very old)."

"Isla Verde hotel was a reasonable price and good value for the cost. Inside the hotel was updated, and the lobby and restaurant was inviting. The front desk staff were helpful, provided recommendations, and even noticed when my child left their stuffed animal in the restaurant. We appreciated their thoughtfulness throughout our stay!"

"Adjoining the two-story bank of rooms and the lobby/breakfast-dining-tables is a dense jungle where tropical birds chirp. An attractive setting. My single-bed room could have been brighter with stronger light bulbs, but when I requested a lamp to see my laptop keyboard, the desk clerk quickly and cheerfully supplied one. I probably should have asked for a wash cloth for showering, but that's a basic necessity. The bathroom-sink faucet had little pressure and the shower water was barely lukewarm...
