"This is a one of a kind hotel, that is landscaped and attended to in an impeccable fashion. The food choices and quality were amazing—numerous GF etc options that were clearly labelled. Truly one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at and I highly recommend it. Only minor gripes are that there are add on costs for a # of the yoga classes. Also it is a VERY hilly property so be prepared."

"Our entire experience was fantastic. The rooms are lovely, the garden/grounds are impeccably well taken care of, and the staff (including the owners) were extremely friendly and helpful. "My family loved the salt water pool! The night sky was amazing as well. Haven't seen that many shooting star so clear in the night for a while. If not for our schedule we would have stayed longer. I am a minimalist so I have no complaints. Basics are covered, I am happy. We went there for a time to feel isolated and away from it all, and we got what we came for. You will encounter wildlife (hey it's Costa Rica!). Be prepared. It's part of the charm of this beautiful tropical paradise....
