"We would stay again. The beds were a little uncomfortable, not too bad. What put us off was the pullout couch had a gigantic brown reddish stain on it so that really gross us out we weren’t able to use it."

"Our original room had a slow draining bathtub which hampered the showering experience. We called the front desk and they sent a maintanance man that was very polite and helpful. He worked on trying to unclog the drain for 30 minutes. He finally suggested we have a room change and very kindly made arrangements for us to move directly across the hall. Our next room was actually a little cleaner, brighter and bathroom seemed slightly more updated. The rooms did not have a refrigerator, which was...

"This was our first time staying at Mountaineer Casino. It was a nice experience. Had the wood fired pizza at Gatsby’s. Very good. The casino was very clean and did not have that smoky/stale beer smell. Good mix of older and newer machines. Had a little luck there as well. The restrooms actually had a pleasant smell, which is rare! The rooms are due for an update but couldn’t your own house use one too? Staff was nice as well. Will return !! "

"I was glad to have another option close to Franciscan University. And the room price, even after a discount at the other place, was better at Wingate. On a map it looked walkable, and in fact was -- if you don't mind going cross-country for a little bit. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable."
